A little about me.
Hi, I'm Sheri! Here are a few fun facts about me:
- My real first name is Sheridamae, which is pronounced Shuree-dah-may
- I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii
- I lived half my life in Washington State and another half in San Diego, CA
- I grew up in a military family (Go Navy! Go Air Force!)
- I am a proud daughter of two Filipino immigrants
- I am a cat mommy to a little red tabby cat named Araw, which is Tagalog for sun
- I can speak Tagalog and English
- I'm an alumni of San Diego High School (Go Cavers!)
- I went to UC Davis for my undergrad and have two Bachelor's degrees
- I've traveled to 13 different countries
- My interests include: Harry Potter, Star Wars, The Adventure Zone and Welcome to Night Vale podcasts, Animal Crossing, RPG games, K-Dramas, and Anime
- My academic/field passions include criminology, prison labor programs, community building, and criminal justice reform
